The Douc in Danger team accompanies GreenViet in educational activities

GreenViet has cooperated with Mr. Noel Campana who is a creator of  Douc in Danger with the aim of supporting the Nature Education Center on educational activities on the critically endangered species Red-shanked Douc Langur.

The story starts from, Noel Campana traveled by train from Europe across Russia, Mongolia, and China to start the journey of a lifetime, then he met a lot of people and spent hours playing cards with the locals on the train. So he noticed that the games can connect people from all cultures, even if they do not speak the same language.  One day Noel visited the jungle area surrounded by playful monkeys and at that moment he wanted to create a language-independent card game about monkeys. The Red -Shanked Douc Langur for game choice after he researched the various species of monkeys. For this reason, Douc in Danger was born. 

Noel decided to travel to Vietnam to see the Red-Shanked Douc Langur with the support of Mr.Tuan in Son Tra Mountain. Besideles, the Douc in Danger team, and GreenViet had a great time at the Nature Education Center. As know, a portion of the game proceeds  is going to be donated for the Education activities of GreenViet. 

The card games are designed for 2-6 players to take turns being good rangers, nasty poachers, or curious tourists. Each has different player abilities and pursues their own goals. Whoever has the fewest lost DOUCs at the end wins the game. Besides that, the players are aware of the serious threats that the Red-shanked douc langur is at risk in the wild.
