DANANG YOUTH COLLECTED GARBAGE ON SON TRA MOUNTAIN
In the morning on October 14th, 2012, GreenViet Club cooperated with 26 plus Danang, SV8 group (Danang University of Economics), and other students of Danang University of Training and Education in the collecting garbage on Son Tra Mountain.
This activity follows the movement of Sunday Green – Clean – Beautiful of Danang city. This is also the GreenViet club’s periodical activity on Son Tra Mountain.
Mr. Tran Huu Vy, the consultant of GreenViet said: “This activity aims to raise awareness for visitors, local people, and other GreenViet’s members of respecting and protecting the environment by not throwing garbage along the ecological tourism route on Son Tra Mountain”
These young people cleaned the Son Tra ecological tourism route before the incoming rainy season. This helps to protect the ocean from the flow of water with litter.
The GreenViet Club also focuses on the selling environmental product to raise for the Son Tra Biodiversity Fund which was started from April 1012
From 7 a.m to 9 a.m on October 14th, 2012, more than 40 members joined to collect garbage along Hoang Sa Street, from the foot of Son Tra Mountain to Linh Ung Pagoda with 2 km in length.
