“EACH UNIT – AN ACTION TO CONSERVE BIODIVERSITY IN DANANG CITY” WORKSHOP

This is one of the important activities of the Capacity Building Project for Greenviet in designing and implementing biodiversity conservation projects in Danang city, funded by the IUCN/CEPF in the years 2016 – 2017.

In recent years, conservation activities of Danang’s biodiversity have been a prioritized concern. Particularly, the Red-shanked douc langur in Son Tra Peninsula has been selected as an identification image of Danang in APEC Leaders’ Week 2017 and this is a huge motivation for the city’s biodiversity conservation work. Aiming to enhance the biodiversity conservation activities of Danang during the years 2016 – 2017, Greenviet Biodiversity Conservation Centre (GreenViet) organized the workshop “Each Unit – An action to conserve biodiversity in Danang city” on September 22, 2016, in order to call for functional units and organizations within Danang’s districts in developing activities that conserve biodiversity based on the mobilization of local resources to coordinate implementation.
