STUDENTS FROM HAI CHAU DISTRICTT EXPLORING SON TRA’S NATURE & PARTICIPATING IN
Students from 04 primary schools in Hai Chau district (Danang) took part in the program of exploring the red-shanked douc langur in Son Tra peninsula integrated with studying about knowledge of environmental protection.
In response to “Clean up the world” campaign, in this November, Greenviet has cooperated with the Natural Resources and Environment Committee Division of Hai Chau district in conducting a communication program of studying about the red-shanked douc langur of Son Tra peninsula at 4 primary schools including Le Quy Don school, Ong Ich Khiem school, Hoang Van Thu school, and Phu Dong school.
The program included following activities (1) Exhibiting photos of wild animals of Son Tra, Danang; (2) Studying wild animals of Son Tra; and (3) Talkshow about biodiversity and the population of red-shanked douc langurs in Son Tra, Danang. The program had attracted a lot of interest from both students and teachers from those schools.

On the 7 th November, the Environmental day Program at Le Quy Don primary school took place interestingly with many activities such as the play “A small action brings significant meaning” acted by the students, the competition “Ring the Golden Bell” about environmental protection held by the teachers, and the program “Photo exhibition and studying the red-shanked douc langur in Son Tra” held by Greenviet. The exhibition and competition of knowing about the red-shanked douc langur in Son Tra lasted 2 days, 7-8 November, and attracted a lot of interest from students. The winner of the competition was awarded a memory card game about wild animals in Vietnam designed by GreenViet.

The program has been held in 02 primary schools which were Le Quy Don school and Ong Ich Khiem school. The program will be organized in Hoang Van Thu primary school on 16-18 November and Phu Dong primary school on 21-22 November.
